Interactive Tour (Step 4) - Modifying a New Listing

Everything is handled for you with BidBoosters...html coding, photo storage, etc.!

STEP FOUR: Modifying a New Listing
In the new window that opened when you clicked on "Make Listing" you will see a blank version of your template. This is how a template looks before you add in your custom listing information. In this case, you will notice that the template is unedited and ready for your auction details!

Whenever you see a symbol, this means that the text or image is editable. When you click on the edit symbol it will pop-up a new window giving you the ability to edit the content.

Follow these steps to create your listing:

1. Click on each text edit button and enter some fake text as though you were building your listing.

2. Click on the edit button to the right of the main image. A new window will open that allows you to upload the image you want from your local computer. Feel free to upload an image of your choice to test out the feature. This particular template has a maximum width of 375 pixels for the main photo. Images MUST be in .jpg format!

If you would like to download an image to your computer first so that you have something to upload, right mouse click on the image below and Save to your computer. You can then browse to it in Step #2 to see just how easy it is!

3. If you wish, go ahead and add up to seven additional photos to the listing. To do so, you will see additional notepads beneath the primary photo. Simply repeat the procedure mentioned in Step 2 to add more photos. A thumbnail will automatically be generated so you only need to upload the full size image. Each listing can have up to 8 photos and you will not incur any additional eBay photo fees...saves up to $.75 per listing!

Note: The "About Us", "Payment Policy", and "Shipping Policy" text areas are populated with what are called Global Text Fields and cannot be edited in this listing area. Why not?

Once your listing is set the way you want it, you can click Preview to see how it will look in your auction listing. Notice the menu bar at the very top of the page?

If you are satisfied with the listing, click "Save Changes". The window will close and you will be forwarded to your Listing Library. Please note that our library is refreshed every 24 hours so you may notice that your listing is deleted if you come back to the tour at a later date.

Now move on to Step Five!
